DROP = Usually a recognizable line from a popular movie, used in a station promo or a program feature, either for comic effect or to play on the station’s name.
SWEEPER SHELL or DONUT = An audio imaging track which has an opening, a middle (to insert talk or a drop) and an end.
ANARCHY IDs = A sweeper shell with a drop used to accentuate a station’s slogan and station name. The drops range from instructional to funny to weird. These work great for the morning shows or any special features.
DRONE = A longer, drawn out Sounder that is used for a promo, reading the news over, giving contest details or concert information etc.
BREAKER = Short sound bursts for transitions, separators and starts.
IMPACT = A big hit style effect.
RISER = A sound effect that raises in pitch or speed to create an exciting build-up effect.
WIPE = A sound that is usually used for a transitional effect.
COMBO = Any combination of multi-sounding imaging effects. (Example: A track that may open with a breaker effect that ends with an impact or wipe.)
STAGED FX = Any imaging that is mixed with sound effects such as a phone, car horn, cash register, radio dial etc.
LOOPS/BEDS = Rhythmic beats that range between high-energy up-tempo to a more relaxed, laid-back vibe. These are usually used in promos, news, & commercials.
LOGO BED = Musical bed with a definitive, recognizable melody at the top or end of track. Perfect for giving your top of-the-hour, special feature or show a customized branding presence.
MIX-OUTS = Alternate versions and lengths of tracks.
BUMPERS = Similar to a Loop or Logo Bed used for an intro or outro to a segment, hour etc.
